This semester in Entrepreneurship 301 has been a true pivotal moment for me. I have truly gotten more out of this class than I thought I would have.

I was looking forward to this class at the beginning of the semester. I really enjoyed the Entrepreneurship 201 class my freshman year at NDSU. I learned so much in that class from my professor, and the many great entrepreneurs that he brought in to speak with us.

During this semester I also got to explore entrepreneurship outside of the classroom by participating in the NDSU NICE Leap program. Between the Leap Program and in class, I was able to develop a new podcast called Bakers with T! Where I interview bakers on how they turned their craft of baking into a business/venture. I never thought in a million years that I would start a podcast about bakers! Even though I developed a podcast for class, I really enjoyed this assignment, I am hoping to continue with this podcast once I find more bakers to interview.

Another skill I enjoyed learning in class was constructing a business model canvas. I loved working on this activity because this is something I rarely really worked on and learned in all my other entrepreneurship classes, seminars, competitions, etc. This will be very insightful for me in the future for when I am ready to start up a business. I liked that I got to learn the importance of channels products can go through to get to customers, the cost structure on how much will is cost to run business operations, the customers segments on who the target market is, the key activities that can be used in a business, the type of partners I can have in a business, and lastly, what kind of value do I want customers to see in the business I hope to start someday. Overall, I really enjoyed using and learning the Business Model Canva in class, and I will use it in the future.

In this next ten years, I am hoping to start a business of my own. Besides from starting a podcast, I have also started a side hustle of selling clothes on eBay earlier this year. But I would really want to start a new business that I can start up from scratch myself. I would also want to continue podcasting, maybe I will continue with Bakers with T or start something new. I would also like to travel more hopefully after the pandemic. I also have a short term of scoring another internship before I graduate. I would also like to finish my entrepreneurship minor before I graduate. I would also like to continue my education through schooling by maybe going to graduate school soon.

Overall, this semester has been great for me in the class, I am so glad that I got the chance to work with other students who are passionate about starting up their own business. This has truly inspired me to continue taking more entrepreneurship classes, and hopefully start up my own business soon.
